Fred Perry

Our history

New Malden Tennis, Squash and Badminton Club Ltd was first established in 1920 on its present site. Originally known as Courtlands Tennis Club, its facilities have been expanded over the years to include squash, badminton and a gym. The club can lay claim to Fred Perry as a former tennis tournament champion!

The Club is now known as New Malden Sports Club and is a community based club run and owned by it's members on a not for profit basis.

The Courtlands Health and Fitness Suite was opened in 1998 and has now become a fully equipped gym with a number of optional fitness classes.

Known for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the Club has an active social scene with a popular licensed bar offering a snooker table and Sky/BT Sports TV. Social events take place throughout the year which are open to all members. Leagues and tournaments are organised for each of the racket sports with coaching available for adults and juniors.
