New Malden Tennis Squash & Badminton Club was named London Social Club of the Year and then went on to pick up the National Greene King Excellence Award for Social Club of the Year! We sent our very own Bar Manager Jim Bates all the way to Portugal to collect the award!

We thank Dave Freeman, our Greene King representative for nominating us for this award. The Social club of the year is a coveted award open to clubs who demonstrate great team work and have a keen knowledge of and respect for their members’ needs. They have an entrepreneurial approach to attracting new members and a solid track record in improving their offerings to existing customers.

It was reported by Greene King that our club is refreshingly open and inclusive, forward-looking and innovative. The club has a booming food trade based on simple, popular menus at great prices. New Malden also actively encourages youngsters to get involved in the wide range of sporting activities offered by the club, while catering to the social needs of the whole family. They offer first class tennis, squash, badminton and gym facilities, a wide range of coaching resources and much, much more. Their membership of over 1,300 speaks for itself.
